The ZyWALL 10W supports fail-over and fail-back technology by forwarding WAN port traffic to backup ISDN or Analog modems when the WAN port connection fails. When the WAN connection is reestablished, the traffic returns. The ZyWALL 10W can also perform backup functions by connecting ISDN or Analog modems to ensure availability of the Internet. The ZyWALL 10W backup features save the cost of IT consulting, device maintenance, and daily operation losses.
